• •stA r. • R c_p i isvtuz cm COUNC11. Avcusr Mayer Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:44 P.M. with the following Council members present: Berry, Scholl, DelPizzo, DiCarlo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Morris, City Treasurer . Hssaon, and City Clerk Santilli. Absent: Councilman Domenico and Coun- cilwoman Dhieux. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes as read. CORRESPONDENCE Councilman Berry moved that correspon- dence be accepted and brought up under the proper heading. Seconded by Coun- cilwoman Scholl. Motion carried. COUNCIL ITEMS PARK & REC. APPOINTMENTS Councilman DiCarlo asked if all the letters were received at about the same time. Hr. Helart said that one was received earlier however, they held pet until there were more people applying. Councilwoman Scholl moved that Keith Helart, Ricky Pickett, and Derr Pickett be appointed for 2 years on the Parks & Rec Board. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Councilman DiCarle moved that the motion be amended to require a vote on each person separately. Seconded by Council- man DelPizzo. Motion on amendment carried. - Council moved to appoint Keith Helart and Ricky Pickett for 2 year terms. Mr. Den Pickett was not approved by Council to serve on the Board. Mr. Helert is to bring another name in for Councils approval. COUNCIL PRIORITIES Council tabled this matter until a full Council was present. The matter will be discussed on August 13, 1974 at the time of the budget meeting. MOSQUITO SPRAYING Mr. Wurl informed Council and the audience that there would be no more spraying of mosquitoes. He stated that the County misinformed the City on the matter. He felt that some type of apology should be be placed in the paper about the matter.
