• <br /> 0 <br /> At <br /> r:r ' <br /> COMM MOOS i COiIITTEE REPORTS <br /> HIGH SCHOOL TROPHIES Councilman DiCarlo stated that he net <br /> with Hr. Orebing, the Principal at the <br /> Louisville Middle School and he stated <br /> that Mr. &robing did not want to get rid <br /> of the trophies but he did not have any <br /> place to store them and felt that they <br /> should be displayed. The trophies are <br /> now stored at the school . Mr. Grebing <br /> stated that the only way the trophies can <br /> be donated to the City is to have the City <br /> write a letter to the School Board re- <br /> questing that the trophies be donated back <br /> to the City as a historical memory. He <br /> also stated he will keep the trophies <br /> stored until the City can take them. <br /> Mayor Pro-te■ Berry stated that he would <br /> like to have a response from the library <br /> as to the displaying of the trophies and <br /> also from the Parks i Rec Board. Mr. <br /> Helart of the Parks $ Rec Board stated <br /> that at this time the trophies could be <br /> stored in the basement of the Community <br /> Building. Barbara McDonald stated that <br /> she could store some of them in the 1st <br /> Federal Savings & Loan building. After <br /> discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved that <br /> the City Administrator be instructed to <br /> write a letter to the School Board <br /> requesting the trophies be donated to the <br /> City. Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl . <br /> Councilwoman Dhieux moved that the motion <br /> be amended to read that the City take <br /> possession immediately after approval by <br /> the School Board. Seconded by Councilman <br /> Domenico. Amendment was accepted by <br /> Council and the motion to writs a letter <br /> to the School Board was carried. Mr. <br /> Murl will write the letter to the Board. <br /> Councilman DiCarlo reported that there was <br /> a matting held with the Louisville, Niwot, <br /> Lafayette, Cherryvale, Pinewood, and Long- <br /> mont fire departments and the Boulder <br /> Sheriffs department. He stated that the <br /> old boundaries for fire servicing were <br /> brought back with everyone agreeing on the <br /> matter. <br />
