tJJ ' <br /> ASSESSED EVALUATION Mt. furl reported that the assessed valu- <br /> ation of the City increased from <br /> $3,448,950 to $3,946,840. In the <br /> General Improvement District it increased <br /> fro= $2.468,050 to $2,719,300. This is <br /> a 12.6~ increase in City valuation and <br /> a 9. 2% increase in General Improvement <br /> District valuation. Mr. Wurl stated that <br /> since this increase is more then the <br /> State allows. Mr. Wurl stated that a letter <br /> from the City Government must be sent to <br /> the Department of Local Government for <br /> approval. <br /> Councilman Berry moved that Council authorize <br /> Mayor Waschak to write a letter regquesting <br /> permission from the Division of Local <br /> Government to increase the revenue derived <br /> by the same mill levy as imposed last year <br /> on the increased valuation. Also, instructing <br /> Council to send along with that • comparative <br /> summary of taxes collected in 1974 as <br /> relates to those collected in 1975. Also <br /> stating the area the increases will be <br /> needed compared to 1974. Include all cash <br /> surplus and send a list of the total <br /> expenditures of 1974 vs. those anticipated <br /> in 1975. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. <br /> Domenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl yes, <br /> Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes . <br /> Motion carried. • <br /> Councilman Domenico moved that the City <br /> Administrators report be accepted. Seconded <br /> by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> An adjourned meeting was scheduled for <br /> October 8, 1974 at 7: 30 P.M. to discuss <br /> LURA appointment. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY REPORT Attorney Morris stated that in Ordinance. <br /> #452 was prepared in two forms. After <br /> ORDINANCE #452 the Ordinance was read Councilwoman Dhieux <br /> UNIFORM BUILDING CODE moved that Ordinance #452 be ordered <br /> published and a public hearing be set- for <br /> 30 days from publication. Seconded by Coun- <br /> cilman DiCarlo. Roll call. Domenico yes, <br /> Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo <br /> no, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION #18 <br /> COAL CREEK ASSOCIATION Attorney Morris stated that this Resolution <br /> pertained to the Coal Creek Water Users <br /> Association creation.
