Councilman <br /> DiCarlo stated he would check into the <br /> matter. <br /> SENIOR CITIZEN PROGRAM Councilwoman Dhieux asked what amount <br /> of City money if any would be taken frog <br /> the City for the program. itr. Wurl <br /> stated that Parks & Roc did budget for <br /> the expense of the senior citizen program. <br /> STREZT DIPS & S:DEWALRS Councilman DelPizzo requested that a <br /> special meeting be held to discuss the <br /> funding to improve the street dips and <br /> fix the sidewalks which have high curbs. <br /> Councilman DelPizzo stated that he did <br /> give the City Engineer information in <br /> regards to the streets which should be <br /> looked into. Mr. Wurl stated that the <br /> matter is being worked on. <br /> STREET IN FRONT OF fir. Wurl informed Council that work has <br /> STEINBAUGHS been started to clean up that area and <br /> the *tree will be open soon. <br /> L.U.R.A. APPOINTMENT A request to have John Stead placed on <br /> the Board replacing George Stead was <br /> read. Councilwoman Scholl moved that <br /> John Stead be appointed to the L.U.R.A. <br /> Board. Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br /> Nation carried. <br /> NAIL BOXES Mrs. Shipton stated that the citizens in <br /> WOOD BROTHERS SUBDIVISION the Wood Brothers zubJivision have to <br /> place their mail boxes in the City ease- <br /> ment on the curb in front of their homes. <br /> Her request was to have the City deny <br /> permission to have the boxes in that ease- <br /> ment. so the boxes can be placed on the <br /> houses; She felt that there would be <br /> many problems with curb delivery with small <br /> children and vandals.
