McDonald commented that she eaa unhappy that the CD grant application was not yet completed and felt that there was sufficient time. After discussion Council carried the motion. RAILROAD TRACK WEEDS Councilman McDonald asked if anything has been done on the weeds along the rail- road tracks. Mr. Hurl stated that he has not done any- thing yet on the matter. SCHOOL CROSSING Councilman McDonald asked if anything has S0. BOULDER ROAD been done on the school crossing on So. Boulder Road. Mr. Hurl stated that they have checked into the matter and find that most children ride buses in that subdivision. It was noted that the children attending the Middle School do not get bused. Mr. furl stated that because the bid was so much higher then the scope of the pro- ject was reduced to the fire lights on Main Street by the Fire Rail. It was noted that many children do walk across the street and that the bus drops the children off at the end of Main St. where there is much congestion. LIGHT AT HIGHWAY 42 Councilman DelPizzo asked if there could & SO. BOULDER ROAD be another request on alight at that in- tersection. Mr. furl stated that it is always in the City's highway recommendations, and the state feels that there is not enough traffic flow through that intersection to warrant a light. . Comments were made on lowering the speed limits. Mr. furl stated that there has been some adjustments on the highway re- garding that. No action was taken. TREES IN SUBDIVISIONS Councilman DelPizzo asked if there were suppose to be trees in the new sub- divisions i.e. Parkwood and Louisville North. -9- --
