D. Street Sweeper Am you know, we budgeted in the 1977 budget to acquire a new street sweeper. We have since stumbled into What appears w s to be a very good used one The City of West- minister has one that they are going to put on the mar- ket. It is a 1970 Wayne - 3 wheeler- Sweeper. It appears to be in very good condition. Our Director of Public Works, Mr. McNulty has gone down to look at it. They have actually operated the machine. He thinks it is worth the coney. They are asking $4,500.00. What w would like to do is acquire this sweeper this year which hopefully would last us for 2 to 4 years. This would enable us to delay acquiring the new one; and the end result would be when and if we did acquire a new one in 2 or 3 yeers, we would have a lot better back-up sweeper.
