Others present: City Administrator 'Uri, City <br /> Attorney Jose, City Planner Drumm, City Engineer White, City Treasurer <br /> Reason and City Clerk Saatilii. <br /> ACCEPTANCE OP MZ$ S Councilman DiCArlo requested that in the <br /> JANUARY 4, 1977 minutes of January 4, 1977, his statement <br /> JANUARY 11, 1977 pertaining to Personnel Ordinances should <br /> have noted that Council receive the copies <br /> of the ordinances by the first meeting in <br /> February. <br /> Councilman McDonald requested that the min- <br /> utes of January 4, 1977, be corrected on <br /> her comment requesting a financial statement • <br /> in chart - graph form, beginning with <br /> January 1977. <br /> With the corrections, Council approved the <br /> minutes of both meetings. <br /> COUNCIL ITEMS dr. Wurl read the proclamation, proclaim- <br /> MARCH OF DIMS ing January 27, 1977, as the night for the <br /> PROCLAMATION mothers march. <br /> Mrs. Marilyn Hershey was present to accept <br /> the proclamation from the Mayor. The <br /> American Legion presented Mrs. Hershey <br /> with a donation in the amount of $200. <br /> CHILD CARE CENTER Mr. Wurl noted that by ordinance all in- <br /> 932 MAIN ST. formation heard by the Planning Commission <br /> must be submitted to Council; Council then <br /> having the option to have the case reviewed <br /> by them if they so choose. <br /> He stated that tht• Planning Commission did <br /> hear the matter and granted a permit with <br /> one recommendation; that the loading and <br /> unloading of children be done in the alley. <br /> It is staffs recommendation that the <br /> Council not call the matter up for special <br /> review. <br /> Mr. Wurl stated that if Counc does not <br /> request the review, then the matter is closed. <br /> Discussion was held pertaining to the en- <br /> forcing of the request for loading and <br /> unloading of the children in the alley. <br /> Councilman DiLorenzo questioned the ne- <br /> cessity of having no parking in front of <br /> the building an a safety precaution. <br />
