Their request was <br /> for $21,000 to reface and preserve the <br /> the Community Building by removing the old <br /> paint and repointing the mortar. <br /> Ann Trementozzi Mayor and Councilmembers also had a copy <br /> Director of Library of the Library request for funds. <br /> Mrs. Trementozzi stated her:proposal was <br /> for a long range project over a period of <br /> 4 years of computerizing the library system. <br /> She stressed the importance of being hooked <br /> in with the Boulder Library, eventually <br /> Denver and other urban libraries being added <br /> tq the system, thus making available books <br /> and material from all these outlets. <br /> Basically $5,000 would be needed for this <br /> year and the long range funding would re- <br /> quire approximately $40,000. Mrs. Tremen- <br /> tozzi stated she would pursue other funds <br /> from a grant that may be available. <br /> Council generally agreed this proposal should <br /> be adopted but perhaps in the next budget <br /> session. Councilmembers complimented Mrs. <br /> Trementozzi on her excellent persentation. <br /> Rod Leesman, Director ' Director Leesman advised he was seeking <br /> of Public Safety consideration of funding for a mugshot <br /> camera and the acquisition of an intoxiliyzer <br /> for a total of $6,000. He supported his re- <br /> quest by stating these pieces of equipment <br /> are now being used in Boulder causing undue <br /> delays and manpower hours for transporting <br /> arrestees. <br /> August Hioco Director Hioco requested consideration of <br /> Director of Community Services funds in the amount of $5 , 500 to replace <br /> the heater at the swimming pool and to <br /> buy additional wrestling and gymnastic mats. <br /> John Rupp - Director of Requested consideration of his request for <br /> Community Development funding the irrigation system at Regal Square, <br /> the elderly citizen complex, in the amount <br /> of $46,000, and advised Council 4 years ago <br /> the price of the system was $12,000 just to <br /> give them an idea of the escalating cost. <br />
