Administrator Wurl advised that fliers were distributed to every residence in Louisville who receives a water bill, outlining what was happening and notifying people of the public hearing this evening. Mayor Meier continued the public hearing - anyone supporting Ordinance #759 - none. Opposing Ordinance #759 - Administrator Wurl advised that a letter was received from McStain Corp. opposing the ordinance. Council questions and comments. Councilwoman Morris Referred to the letter received from Mr. Kruger of McStain stated that the fees were substantially increased just recently; irruired when the fees were increased and haw :ouch hurl advised in 1979 from $3,600.00 to $4,100.00, and on the sewer tap from $800.00 to $1,000.00 Mayor Meier closed the public hearing. ADOPTION Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Cussen seconded that Ordinance #759 - Water and Wastewater Tap Fee Increase be adopted. Roll call vote: YES: Cussen, Meier, Cummings, Fauson, Ferrera, Morris,Leary Motion carried unanimously. ORDINANCE #760 - WATER AND Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance WASTEWATER RATE INCREASE by title only on second reading and public PUBLIC HEARING hearing, and certified proper publication. Rautenstraus also advised that section 13. 12.090 B had been amended and suggested when the motion is made to make reference to this amendment. Mayor Meier opened the public hearing and Attorney Rautenstraus certified notice of public hearing was published in the Louis- ville Times May 5, and May 12, 1982. Presentation by staff - Administrator Wurl advised fliers advising users of the proposed increases were sent to all residents.
