SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENTS Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance by SICK PAY title only and the request was for Council's approval to publish it. Chief Accountant Caranci advised that an or- dinance was required to refund to the City and its employees the amount of social secur- ity paid on sick pay; for the years 1977 to 1981. The law now has been changed and social secur- ity must be withheld on sick pay. PyB1,ICATION AUTHORIZED Councilman Leary moved. Councilman Cussen seconded that Ordinance #765 be published. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. ORDINANCE #766 - JUDGE'S Each councilmember had a copy of the ordinance. SALARY Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance by title only and requested Council' s authori- zation for publication. PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED Councilman Fauson moved. Councilman Cummings seconded that Ordinance #766 - Judge' s Salary be published. Councilman Cussen Questioned why doubling the salary of the Municipal Judge came up at this time. Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the budget and the Judge had been receiving a larger amount than the previous ordinance had allowed. This was found when the Municipal Court budget was being submitted for 1983. PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED Question called for on the motion. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION #22 - NEODATA FINAL Attorney Rautenstraus read the resolution PLAT in its entirety and each councilmember had a copy, as well as other pertinent information. Director Rupp gave a slide presentation of the site and advised that several meetings had taken place between the area residents , the City and the developers .
