2/2/84 Page -2- B. VEHICLES LEASED - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY SER- VICES, AND PUBLIC SAFETY. In the 1984 budget provided for vehicles to be acquired by Departmentn of Community Development, Community Ser- vices, and Public Safety. They wish to purchase those through the State Bid Program and we need Council's authorization to: 1. Lease the vehicles. 2. To approve the quote of the First National Bank of Louisville. C. JOHAN CONSTRUCTION INC. - PAY ESTIMATE 91 - CITY HALL FINISH A copy of the pay estimate is enclosed. Recommendation is that Council authorize payment. D. WHITE STAR MACHINERY CO. - AWARD BID - LOADER Copies of the bid tablulation and memorandums are enclosed for Council's review. The recommendation is that Council award the bid to White Star Machinery Co. , the low bidder. E. HERITAGE PARK - AUTHORIZE LAND PLAN DESIGN CONTRACT AND CALL FOR BIDS A memorandum is enclosed outlining the phasing of Heritage Park and other pertinent information. We are requesting that Council authorize Land Plan Design to complete final plans and specifications and authorize us to call for bids on the project sometime in the month of May. F. C 470 HIGHWAY - DISCUSSION Mayor Pro-tem Leary at the last meeting requested that this item appear on the agenda for an opportunity for Council to discuss the proposal . G. PATETE - NORTHWEST AMPS - TOWER REQUEST They requested to be placed on the agenda to make a presentation and solicit Council's support for when they appear before the County Planning Commission and County Commissioners. It is our recommendation that Council oppose their proposal to construct a tower north of the Louisville Reservoir site in the green space area. Item 11.
