F. TEEN JOB BANK - FUNDING REQUEST - This matter was tabled at
the last meeting to give staff an opportunity to prepare for
you an outline of the Mayor and Council's Budget. so that they
might be analyzed to see if there is a possibility of funding
coming from either of those sources. In review of that , it
appears to me unless some of the Council are not going to CML
or if you don't intend to have a retreat, or another
possibility is from other conferences and miscellaneous,
Council which is money set aside for Council should they
decide to attend other Conferences specifically the National
League of Cities in the fall of the year Other then those
possibilities, there just doesn' t seem to be anything
available for allocations at this time, unless once again you
choose to reduce the Flight For Life donations.
G. BOULDER VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT - NAMING OF NEW ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL - Councilman Cussen has requested that this item appear
on the Agenda, so that Council may review the action taken
last year in requesting that the school consider the name of
Joe Carnival for the new Elementary School . Councilman Cussen
tends to elaborate, he has had discussions with school
members, board members , etc . , as relates to the problem.
H. LOUISVILLE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION - REQUEST COMMITTEE
MEMBERSHIP - Enclosed in the packet is a copy of a letter from
To Thompson , president from LDC, who will speak regarding the
matter at the meeting, his request is going to center around
the possibility of the Councilman serving on the various
committees. As you know Council is already designed
Councilman Leary, and Councilman Woodson to serve on the
Finance Committee. Their request deals with the other
committees.
I . LOUISVILLE HISTORICAL COMMISSION - UPDATE - The Historical
Commission has requested time to appear to speak to Council
and update them on the activities of the Historical
Commission .
ITEM 10 CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT
A. ORDINANCE NO. 823 - REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 808 - HOMART
REZONING 2ND READING - As you know this matter has been
previously tabled, and appears on the Agenda this evening in
anticipation of some word from Homart as relates to their
reactions to our study session of last week.
B. ORDINANCE NO. 824 - HOMART REZONING 1ST READING SET DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING - Obviously this Ordinance will only be
considered if in fact Homart 's submittal is acceptable to the
Council and I might add that the suggested date for the Public
Hearing would be your meeting of April 17, 1984.
