•
7/5/84 Page -2-
there is a traffic problem in the City
but felt that most of it care from surround-
ing communities. The City can be stalemated
yet still have all the traffic coming through
this communities anyway; yet the revenues
will not be coming in to provide for the
needs of Louisville. Mr. DelPizzo felt that
the situation would worsen unless some growth
happened. It was his opinion that the City
Administrator wasn't doing his job - it
was that the Council was not doing there job.
Their first priority should have been with
Homart and Jacobs/Kahan to make certain that
the filtering system at Superior was already
built before all the houses were built.
Mr. DelPizzo felt that Council had not done
their homework. Secondly they should have
reviewed this with Rocky Mountain Consultants
and Council felt they weren't doing their
job, they should have been fired so that
Council specifically knew how many gallons
of water this community was going to need
every day. Mr. DelPizzo questioned how
many councilmembers had been to the water
plant to view the filtering system to see
what the capabilities are - how many of the
councilmembers had been to the sewer plant?
Mr. DelPizzo did not think the water situation
problem was being blown out of proportion and
this was being blamed on Administrator Wurl.
He also stated that all Mr. Wurl could do
was to listen to all the talent that he had
around him and take their word for it; if
they are wrong then he is going to have to
report it wrong; but he should not be blamed
for it. Mr. DelPizzo felt that if Mr. Wurl
has to 9o, then the entire Council should go
also because they aren't really doing their
job effectively. He didn't see any accomplish-
ments from Council in the past 21 years.
Mr. Wurl' s Letter of Mayor Meier requested Council deal with
Resignation whether to accept the letter of resignation
from Administrator Wurl or reject it.
Accepted Councilman Luce moved, Councilwoman Morris
seconded that the letter of resignation from
the City Administrator Leon A. Wurl be accepted.
