Ray Bata made a presentation to Mayor and Council stating that the new business would be called RB Liquors, a retail liquor outlet located at 1140 Pine Street, Pine Street Plaza. Bata' stated that he would be the manager, has two year liquor experience, has no criminal record, never denied application for liquor license and has no financial interest in any other liquor outlets. The store would have • driveup window for convenience. Cussen asked Bata if he thought he would be able to determine if an individual was intoxicated and thereby denying • sale of alcohol if the party came to the driveup window. Bata's opinion was that he could determine this . Chuck Bellock of 730 Grape Avenue, Boulder, Colorado, spoke in favor of the liquor store as it is compatible use and good for the Pine Street Plaza and the City of Louisville in terms of sales tax revenue. Mayor Meier closed the Public Hearing. Fauson moved that Ray Bata be granted a retail liquor license to operate in Pine Street Plaza, Johnson . seconded and the motion was passed unanimously.
