411 410 <br /> application was submitted to the City and appears <br /> to meet all the required criteria. <br /> Ray Bata made a presentation to Mayor and Council <br /> stating that the new business would be called RB <br /> Liquors, a retail liquor outlet located at 1140 <br /> Pine Street, Pine Street Plaza. Bata' stated that <br /> he would be the manager, has two year liquor <br /> experience, has no criminal record, never denied <br /> application for liquor license and has no <br /> financial interest in any other liquor outlets. <br /> The store would have • driveup window for <br /> convenience. <br /> Cussen asked Bata if he thought he would be able <br /> to determine if an individual was intoxicated and <br /> thereby denying • sale of alcohol if the party <br /> came to the driveup window. <br /> Bata's opinion was that he could determine this . <br /> Chuck Bellock of 730 Grape Avenue, Boulder, <br /> Colorado, spoke in favor of the liquor store as <br /> it is compatible use and good for the Pine Street <br /> Plaza and the City of Louisville in terms of sales <br /> tax revenue. <br /> Mayor Meier closed the Public Hearing. <br /> Fauson moved that Ray Bata be granted a retail <br /> liquor license to operate in Pine Street Plaza, <br /> Johnson . seconded and the motion was passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> RECESS Mayor Meier called for a 10 minute recess at 9: 30 <br /> p.m. <br /> RESOLUTION 01 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> STATEMENT FOR METRO <br /> WATER PROJECT Rautenstraus read Resolution 11 in its entirety. <br /> Luce moved that Resolution 01 , Series 1985, be <br /> approved, Morris seconded and the motion was <br /> adopted unanimously. <br /> U.S. 36 STUDY Rupp reported that the U.S. 36 Study is nearing <br /> completion and the consultants, PRC Engineering, <br /> will be providing a copy of the draft report to <br /> the Study Committee on or before February 13th for <br /> review and comment.
