He supports both oontrolled growth and open space and he <br /> felt that this proposed development violates each of those. He <br /> felt the proposed development would create an undue burden on <br /> Louisville's already overloaded services, such as, police <br /> protection, fire protection, water, schools. He suggested that the <br /> City Council conduct an impact study on the impact on these <br /> services, the grading problea, and the erosion problem before any <br /> decision is wads. He •uggeste4 that Council put a moratorium on <br /> water taps, with respect to this development, until a decision is <br /> lade and water tape are increased, so that this developer doesn't <br /> slide in before that is d*.+ne. He didn't want to lose the <br /> recreational value of sled hill and the open space it provides. He <br /> stated that ha saw the black fox. He felt it should remain open <br /> space or made into a park. <br /> Patricia Carney, il0$ Filisore Court, Louisville, CO, was concerned <br /> about the Polio* force. She wondered if all of the 1saapty police <br /> cars sitting around Louisville were because Louisville lacks enough <br /> police officers to fish, these 4ers. she has lade three (3) calls <br /> to complain about a suspicious vehicle parked near her home that <br /> may have poisoned her dog. To this day no officer has responded <br /> and she wondered if this is a lack of police protection. Also, she <br /> stated that there wore 13 arrests this suwrer of children under 13 <br /> years of ago. Amen approached her the other day and inquired *Why <br /> hasn't my son been arrested yet ? like that was the nor*. She <br /> wondered if that was the kind of reputation Louisville wanted as a <br /> community. <br /> Davidson stated that the empty voila* cars are part of Louisville's <br /> speed awareness program, which is working effectively.
