(C) Provide to the County Clerk all required TABOR Notices concerning ballot issues in <br />the manner required by the Code (excepting the Pro and Con statements which will be due <br />September 25). The submission will include the ballot title, text, and fiscal history or any other <br />required wording for the Notice on September 12. The early submission will expedite the typesetting <br />of the variable data of the Notice which will allow the City sufficient time to proofread their portion <br />of the Notice and will allow the printer to make a better.judgement on the time it will take to print, <br />address, and mail the notices. <br /> <br /> (C.5) As stated in C.R.S. § 1-7-904; Art. X, Sec. 20(3)(b)(v), the Pro and Con summaries <br />for TABOR Amendment issues that will appear on the City ballot are to be submitted to the County <br />Clerk no later than September 25, 2001. <br /> <br /> (D) Prepare and publish legal notices of the Election as required by law. <br /> <br /> (E) If necessary, provide the names and telephone numbers of no less than six (6) <br />individuals~ who are physically and mentally capable of working on the election counting center's <br />Inspection and Duplication Board on election rfi~h_t. The names shall be submitted by the Election <br />Officer to the Contact Officer no later than October 15. The supervisor of the Inspection and <br />Duplication Board will provide instructions to the workers relative to their assigned task on election <br />night before they perform their assigned duty. The Inspection and Duplication Board shall peribrm <br />their duties in the public meeting room on the first floor of the County Clerk and Recorder's Building <br />at 1750 33rd Street, Boulder no later than 7:00 p.m. on the evening of November 6, 2001. Each <br />representative will be paid $6.25 per hour for his or her services. <br /> <br /> (F) A Canvassing Board shall be established as provided in The Colorado Revised <br />Statutes (1-10-202 through 1-10-205). The City, shall be responsible for providing a minimum of <br />one (1) person to represent the City on the Canvass Board. The name of the representative shall be <br />submitted to the Contact Officer on or before October 22,2001, the fifteeth day pr/or to the election. <br /> <br /> (G) To prepare and run the required test deck 24 hours before the official ballot counting <br />commences and to run the same test deck immediately prior to the official ballot count on election <br />night and immediately after the final results have been obtained. <br /> <br /> (H) At the next City Council meeting after election day, the official Canvass Board shall <br />survey the results of the election, issue a certified statement of results, and make out abstracts of <br />votes for each ballot issue. <br /> <br />Election. <br /> <br />Pick up Election mater/als from the County Clerk when requested following the <br /> <br /> 1These individuals must be physically and mentally capable of perfornmng detailed, sometimes tedious job <br />assignments related to receiving the voted ballots, preparing them for the computer count, or tasks related to the <br />actual counting of the ballots. <br /> <br /> <br />
