4 <br /> <br /> (Q) To provide support to the Designated Election Officer via telephone and in person, <br />throughout the election process and during all ballot counting procedures for this election. <br /> <br /> (R) To provide necessary staffing, instructions, and supplies to conduct the daily in-office <br />voting procedures; to prepare and issue or mail out replacement ballots; and to conduct in-office <br />voting during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) through the <br />close of business on Friday, November 2, 2001 and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the County Clerk <br />and Recorder's Building located at 1750 33rd Street, Boulder on Saturday, October 27, 2001. <br /> <br /> (S) Provide the County's electronic vote counting equipment. The City is to be charged, on a <br />prorata basis, for pre-election preventive maintenance and maintenance performed on the ballot <br />counting equipment (not covered by warranty) during ballot counting procedures. Such charges will <br />be at the rate charged the County by the company providing the service. <br /> <br /> (T) The County Clerk may start counting the ballots :on the tenth day prior to the election <br />(October 27). Pre Election Day counting resutts will not be released until after 7:00 p.m. on the date <br />of the election. Ballots received by 7:00 p.m. on November 6, 2001 shall be counted the night of the <br />election. The results of the election will be submitted to the City immediately following the <br />completion of the final counting procedures. <br /> <br /> Cci) The County will assist the City's representative in performing required and requested <br />elect/:onic vote counting equipment tests. <br /> <br /> (V) To store all voted ballots, unvoted ballots, lists and logs used during the election <br />process for the time period required by Colorado Election Laws. <br /> <br /> (W) To keep a careful and accurate accounting of time, salaries, supplies, and any other <br />costs appropriately chargeable to the City. <br /> <br /> (x) <br />198t. <br /> <br />To otherwise adhere to all applicable provisions of C.R.S., the Rules, and the BRC, <br /> <br /> (¥) The County and it's employees, agents, representatives, or other persons acting under <br />the direction or control of the County shall use reasonable care in carrying out it's obligations under <br />this agreement. <br /> <br />3.3 City Duties. In consideration of the foregoing, the City agrees to perform the following tasks and <br />activities: <br /> <br />i2, 2001. <br /> <br />To cemify ballot issue text to the designated election official no later than September <br /> <br /> (B) Review, proofread, and approve the layout, lbrmat, and text of the City's official <br />ballot before the County Clerk authorizes the printing of the ballots. <br /> <br /> <br />
