One <br /> key thing to this agreement was that <br /> Broomfield was going to enter into an <br /> Intergovernmental Agreement with Louisville <br /> and the County on annexation north of Carbon <br /> road, yet there's nothing in this agreement <br /> about that. Also this agreement requires <br /> down-zoning before they acquire the land. I <br /> don't think I could down-zone private <br /> property that is already within the city <br /> limits of Louisville. After the MTDC <br /> acquires it, I wouldn't have a problem with <br /> that. I feel that this agreement needs a lot <br /> of work. <br /> Howard: I feel uncomfortable without at least an <br /> attempt by Broomfield to get with us and <br /> hammer out an agreement. <br /> Mayor Fauson: I think we need to get with Ron Stewart and <br /> have some answers given to us about these <br /> concerns. <br /> Brand: Maybe we could get together later this week <br /> with Susan Griffiths and you express your <br /> concerns about this agreement. <br /> Council agreed that all of the concerns should be addressed <br /> before public input and that the City Attorney should hear the <br /> concerns before meeting with all of the other attorneys. <br /> Mayor Fauson moved to delay the public hearing until Council has <br /> a better agreement in hand and also all questions and concerns by <br /> Council are addressed, seconded by Szymanski.
