Are there any liability issues <br /> that the city should address? <br /> Tom Hoyt, McStain Enterprises, 75 Manhattan Drive, Boulder, Co. <br /> Hoyt: The detention pond is the way it is now and <br /> it actually wouldn't be in it's final <br /> configuration. <br /> Davidson: Thanked Tom Hoyt for working with neighbors <br /> on this plan. <br /> Howard: Also thanked Tom Hoyt. <br /> Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called for a motion. <br /> Howard moved to adopt Resolution No.6, Series 1991, seconded by <br /> Mayor Fauson. By Roll Call Vote Motion Passed 6-0. <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE 7 VEHICLES PER STATE BID - PUBLIC WORKS <br /> (3) , PARKS & RECREATION (2) , AND POLICE DEPARTMENT (2) - 1991 <br /> CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS <br /> Tom Phare, Steve Baysinger and Rod Leesman presented a brief <br /> review of what each department was asking for. <br /> Mayor Fauson moved the authorization to purchase vehicles as <br /> identified on the attached list, seconded by Carnival. All in <br /> favor. <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO OBTAIN BIDS - 1991 CIP REPLACEMENT PROJECTS <br /> Phare: The public works department is responsible <br /> for implementing certain 1991 capital <br /> improvements. In order to proceed with <br /> engineering and related tasks staff requests <br /> Council authorization to obtain bids. Once <br /> bids are received for the projects Council <br /> will be requested to authorize bid awards. <br /> Davidson: Stated this might be the time to replace the <br /> section of Cherry Street that wasn't built to <br /> standards. <br /> Phare: Stated he was looking into this. <br /> Howard: Stated he would I ike to have a list of the <br /> projects and when the projects will be <br /> underway. <br /> 13 <br />
