..,.

annex to the City of Louisville, to join the
Special Improvement District and then pay in
the arrears what they have not paid to date.
I don't think this is something we should
enter into very lightly. I don't see it as
being part of the Northwest Parkway Agree-
ment. I do not have a problem with any land
owner that wishes to join.

Howard: I have to agree with Councilman Davidson, we
should not force any land owner, including
our largest employer, into any deals that
they mayor may not want to be in. I think
it should say that no one has to go into the
agreement unless they give some written
notification that they would like to. Then
if STC wishes to be part of the Special
Improvement District Louisville would in fact
bless them.

Sackett: If 96th Street Interchange is put in, will
not the property values increase, if we agree
to annex them and zone them commercial? If
that is the case, I don't think they should
have a windfall either. Maybe we could tie
commercial zoning to participation in ex-
change for the interchange. I think if they
want to stay the way they are and get city
services then there is no way they should
have to pay for it. I am not totally opposed
to the landowners paying their portion if
they are taking advantage because of the
interchange.

Mayor Fauson: Agreed with certain aspects. If those people
did annex in and they wanted services to the
ci ty they could take agricultural until the
time the property was sold to be developed
and then the property would change.

Rocky Haight, 10925 Dillon Road, Broomfield, Colorado.

Haight: I am on Louisville's east border. I am under
Louisville's Comprehensive Plan. I am
concerned about the choice of the parkway
coming down Dillon Road. I have some
question about whether this is going to be a
parkway. I have heard this parkway will be
200 feet wide with 400 foot setbacks. A 200
foot wide roadway will come about 30 feet
from my front door. It will take out my
septic tank and the big trees in my front
yard. There are approximately 10 houses on
Dillon Road that would be effected by this
parkway and that is the rural life on Dillon.

4
