<br />Deliverable: Track grant opportunities. <br /> <br />2. Schedule and coordinate the fly-in to Washington - January/February 2010 MCC Trip and <br />facilitate additional opportunities for coalition members traveling to DC throughout the year to <br />meet with key leaders and attend meetings. <br /> <br />· Schedule Congressional meetings with Representative Polis, Perlmutter and Senators Udall and <br />Bennet. <br />· Schedule meetings with Washington staff of delegation. <br />· Schedule meetings with relevant authorizers and appropriations staffers and Members, including <br />Joyce Rose, Amy Scarton, and others who will have a role in funding US36. <br />· Request a meeting with FHW A and FT A executive staff. <br />· Schedule meetings with Jeff Booth, New Starts Working Group. <br />· Facilitate meetings throughout 2009 for MCC members traveling to DC for other purposes. <br /> <br />Deliverable: A full schedule of confirmed meetings and follow up after February trip. <br /> <br />3. FY 2011 Appropriations Requests (Subject to MCC Action) <br /> <br />. Provide schedule for appropriations process. <br /> <br />Deliverable: In coordination with MCC staff, BC will draft appropriations requests and submit them <br />for review by the MCC 30 days prior to submission deadline. <br /> <br />Deliverable: Finalize and submit the necessary FY2011 appropriations requests with review and <br />approval of the MCC. <br /> <br />4. Colorado Meetings <br /> <br />. BC will determine which Colorado delegation members prefer to meet in Colorado while at <br />home. <br /> <br />. Seek opportunities to bring Congressional staff to the corridor. <br /> <br />5. Role ofBC Staff <br /> <br />Levon Boyagian will be very involved with the long-term and day-to-day Congressional and federal <br />strategies for the MCC. Levon will also be the Small Starts Program lead and point of contact for the <br />MCC. <br /> <br />Senior members and staff on the respective authorizing and appropriations committees are critical to the <br />MCC's long term success. Bill and Levon will reach-out to their respective contacts and networks on <br />Capitol Hill beyond the Colorado delegation. <br /> <br />9 <br />
