__"0 Davidson: One thing we have to ask ourselves is, if Lafayette insists on having that in there or they are not going to sign the agreement are we willing to scuttle the entire parkway? Sackett: Absolutely. Davidson: It is entirely a compromise and if one city pulls out, the whole thing goes down the tubes. I don't know that they would take that position, I don't know that at all. Brand: We need to get a resolution on that, when they go back to the next meeting they will be asked to say yes, put it in the Parkway Plan, or no, don't put it in the Parkway Plan. Hornbostel: I move that, that piece of property be included in the Parkway Plan. Gr iff i ths : Are you referring to the purple stripped area north of the Parkway. Hornbostel: Lastoka property is not included. Fauson: I think we need to describe the property to some extent. Hornbostel: The southeastern most portion of the purple stripped area. Howard: I would second that if you added that we get a legal description of that one little section and I second. Hornbostel moved and Howard seconded, requested that it also include a legal description of the property in question. Roll call was taken on the motion. Motion was defeated 3-4 with Fauson, Szymanski, Carnival and Sackett voting no. Howard: What we did was defeat the motion to have that added in. According to the City Administrator we have to tell these people something. We can't just say well we're not just going to have it. What we didn't do is say we are going to do some- thing. We said we weren't going to do something, but we didn't vote on not doing something. We just said the action is still pending. We have not as of yet saiq that we are going to send to this committee anything that says what the posi- tion of Council is. .Fauson: I don't think we need to state what our position 12
