Asked the City Attorney if the
fact that LDC is not longer part of this
agreement, does that alter the agreement in
anyway?

Tanoue: I have not seen the agreement that you are
referring to, but I would be glad to try and
answer that question.

Howard: I assume that some of the monies that the
City gives goes toward salaries?

Howard: If City money is going to help pay salaries,
does that make that person a City employee?
Although I don't see anything in this
agreement that I disagree with, I am
disappointed that items 4 and 5 were glossed
over. On those two things I would like to
get some kind of information regarding what
we know about obstacles and disincentives as
well as how we are reviewing and what has
been done for sales linkage. In addition on
item 5, you have an item A that identifies
and targets businesses and/or industries
desirable for the City of Louisville. I
would like to see that list as soon as it is
available. Targeted industries and why they
are targeted and what makes an industry
desirable or undesirable. Also it says we
are going to work very closely with various
firms; I assume we are working with STK, CTC
and the rest of them. I have seen some of
that. I would appreciate it if the Chamber

2
