Davidson moved to approve Ordinance No. 1043, Series 1991 on second and final reading, seconded by SZYmanski. Roll call was taken on the motion. Motion passed 7-0. ORDINANCE NO. 1042, SERIES 1991 - AMENDING CHAPTER 2.32 OF LOUIS- VILLE MUNICIPAL CODE INCREASING THE SALARY OF THE MUNICIPAL JUDGE - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING Griffiths read by title only, Ordinance No. 1042, Series 1991, "An Ordinance amending Chapter 2.32 of the Louisville Municipal Code increasing the salary of the Municipal Judge." Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. Certification of publi- cation was established. Mayor Fauson called for public comments. NONE Szymanski: Why are we raising it? Brand: We are not raising it, it was part of the budget in 1989 and 1990. There was an ordi- nance covering several items that was intro- duced at the end of 1989 that was never passed. That ordinance would have raised the salary, in conformance with the adopted budget. Because it wasn't passed we've been paying the Judge this salary for two years as it was adopted in the budget and this ordi- nance will bring the code in conformance with the adopted budget provided for and what the Judge has been receiving in 1990 and thus far in 1991. Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing. Sackett moved to adopted Ordinance No. 1042, Series 1991 on second and final reading, seconded by Fauson. Roll call was taken on the motion. Motion passed 7-0.
