Motion passed 6-0. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1047, SERIES, 1991 - REVISED MASSAGE PARLOR <br /> REGULATIONS - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> Ross read by title only Ordinance No. 1047, Series 1991, "An <br /> Ordinance amending portions of Chapter 5.16 of the Louisville <br /> Municipal Code pertaining to Massage Parlors." <br /> Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. certification of <br /> publication was established. <br /> Franklin: Before you is the revisions to the City's <br /> Massage Parlor regulation. The purpose <br /> of the revision is to reflect changes in <br /> the Colorado Statutes which specifically <br /> address and define the definition of <br /> Massage Therapists and which specifically <br /> exempt Massage Therapy or Massage <br /> Therapist from the massage code. The <br /> City is statutory and the codes are <br /> structured along the lines of the state <br /> statutes. It was therefore necessary and <br /> appropriate to consider amendments to our <br /> regulations as well. Before you is the <br /> ordinance which represents portions of <br /> the massage parlor code which have been <br /> amended in legislative format.
