What as a developer would <br /> you do to mitigate those? <br />Markel: To mitigate the impact of the subdivision on the people that <br /> are enjoying the area, is that the question? I would like to <br /> clarify that I think a lot of people are getting wrapped up into <br /> this particular study concept. This was just a feasibility plan to <br /> see if you did 12,000 square foot lots how that would work. I <br /> think that working on the plan to develop an open space, if <br /> that was a desire of the Planning Commission or the <br /> neighborhood groups, we have some density open to that. <br /> There is a computer program that is available to take a picture <br /> of that area and superimpose houses in that particular view to <br /> scale, to see exactly the impact of that kind of housing <br /> development. Some of the mitigating measures would be one <br /> reducing and limiting the heights of the residences. I have not <br /> presented any open space in this particular plan but I am <br /> willing to work with the people of the community. I am not <br /> invested in this particular plan; I did not think I was coming <br /> here tonight to defend a particular plan, I thought that would <br /> be down the line. What I hope we are not doing tonight is <br /> disapproving or approving a site plan. I would like to be able <br /> to demonstrate that I could make something work and have a <br /> win/win situation for the developer and the citizens. Since I <br /> don't know all the issues it is hard for me to give you all the <br /> solutions tonight. I will require more time to look into some of <br /> the things.
