Council <br />did not have any objection. <br />Brand reminded Council that there will be a work session on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. <br />at City Hall. Brand reviewed the agenda for the work session. Brand also reminded <br />Council and staff that the 26th of September will be the last work session on the budget <br />in order to get a draft budget to Council by the 10th of October. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Councilman Howard informed Council that he will be attending DRCOG meeting on <br />Wednesday, September 18. <br />Councilman Sackett requested that Councilmembers review a copy of a letter that he had <br />sent to Rob Lathrop and the Ethics Committee regarding the Ethics Code. <br />Brand informed Council that the Ethics Committee was meeting this evening to review the <br />comments made by Council and that they would be getting back to Council to get together <br />soon. <br />Councilman Davidson requested that at some future date there be a work session on <br />Capital Improvements for Coal Creek Golf Course and what the master plan is, after the <br />budget. <br />Davidson also complimented Wm. Blankenship, Human Resources Officer on the Salary <br />Compensation Plan that Blankenship put together. Davidson stated that it was one of the <br />best plans he had ever seen. <br />Brand explained to Davidson that Coal Creek Golf Course will be reviewed on October 1st <br />prior to the Council meeting. <br />Councilwoman Hornbostel informed Council that she had attend Peter Salas', School Board <br />Member's, open forum. Hornbostel suggested that Council have a more formal contact <br />with the School District perhaps at a work session. Hornbostel informed Council that there <br />were currently other cities in the process of making formal contact with the School District; <br />Broomfield and Lafayette had already met with them. <br />Mayor Fauson informed Council that he was still trying to pursue the Forest Service <br />location in Louisville and he will be meeting with the Mayor of Boulder and the Forest <br />Service on Thursday morning and will inform Council at the work session Thursday evening <br />if there is anything to report. <br />16 <br />
