Mr. Wright gave a brief overview of the
events that the City of Louisville participated in during the past year. Mayor Fauson
accepted the plaque on behalf of the City of Louisville.
AWARD BID - LAKE PARK DREDGING
Steve Baysinger, Director of Parks & Recreation, informed Council that no proposals were
received by the 10:00 a.m. deadline, October 1, 1991. Baysinger reviewed this with the City
Attorney and was advised that the deadline could be extended for these proposals.
Baysinger requested that Council approve the extension of the deadline to the October 8th
business meeting and at that point and time have a regular meeting prior to the Council
Work Session. Baysinger informed Council that he has gotten verbal agreements from
three Companies that if the deadline would be extended they would be interested in
submitting a proposal. Baysinger asked that this item be placed as a regular Council
meeting item prior to the special work session on the 8th. Baysinger corrected the date to
state the 10th.
Mayor Fauson so moved, seconded by Howard. All in favor.
2
