concerns as theirs are. I have a two year old daughter
and I know that there are a number of other neighbors
in the neighborhoods that have very young children.
The biggest problem that I see with putting in an
easement between these two houses is that is going to
provide very easy access for young children into the
open space. There is a large open ditch which at
anytime can be carrying five to six feet of water and it
has very steep sides. They would not be able to get out
of the ditch if they did not know how to swim. Other
than that, I would say that it opens our neighborhood
up to incredible risk for theft. I have already been
robbed once and I know Jim Hardman's house has been
robbed as well. I'm concerned with increased traffic
flow. Right now there are horses that travel back and
forth on that open space and I am concerned that
people may bring horse trailers into the neighborhood
and will cause a pollution problem. From my
perspective, I hike on that trail a lot and I can get
access from my backyard but I often jog around Harper
Lake and it is very easy to go across McCaslin and enter
the open space and come to my house through the back
yard. It is not difficult to get to that access from the
Enclave. I don't see that it would be a hardship for
anybody not to have that easement there.
Wayne Munson, 1128 W. Enclave Circle, Louisville, CO 80027
Munson: We live on the inside of the Circle so we don't back up
to the open space. But we have not found it
inconvenient to walk up McCaslin to access the open
space. My wife and I are concerned that opening the
pedestrian easement would cause increased car traffic.
My wife and I also have a two year old son and that he
would be able to walk right up to the water ditch.
Kirk Sober, 1116 W. Enclave Circle, Louisville, Co 80027
Sober: I am very much for having access up into the open
space. Maybe it wouldn't have to be between Tom's
and Jim's houses, but I think possibly something could
be worked out. I've lived at the Enclave for about three
and a half years now and when I first moved in my
realtor said there is access and I haven't seen it and it
17
--
