<br />Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />FEBRUARY 23, 2006 <br />Page 5 of 7 <br /> <br />Commission Comments and Requests for Additional Information: <br />Lipton requested a discussion by the Commissioner that would provide direction to staff and the <br />applicant for issues that they need to address at the next hearing for this project. <br /> <br />Deborski requested density that is not above the entitlements and more detail of the planned <br />buffer between Louisville and Lafayette. <br /> <br />Pritchard requested information on the following: how the trail system between the two <br />communities would function; more detail of the parks; P A #2 should be designed with additional <br />green space; and a plan for how to deal with the additional traffic at Paschal and HWY 42. <br /> <br />Lipton stated there are several things he likes about the project. He would like to have more <br />information on the following: where are the regional recreation fields (Louisville and Lafayette); <br />the relationship between the two communities by comparing lot sizes, house styles, etc.; more <br />details for the buffer between Louisville and Lafayette; a review of the Comp Plan and the <br />number of units that was proposed for this area; and a clearer understand of the transition from <br />Lafayette's single family homes to the Louisville higher density area. <br /> <br />Loo requested more discussion of density and the reasoning for the dedication of Hecla <br />Reservoir as part of the open space dedication for the project. <br /> <br />Dalton stated that his special interest requests had already been mentioned. <br /> <br />Hartman also stated that her requests for additional information had already been addressed. She <br />continued by stating that she likes the mix of density and the connections that are being planned <br />for with Balfour. <br /> <br />Lipton requested a discussion of Planning Commissioner availability for future meeting dates. <br />Pritchard stated that he would not be available for a meeting on March 16, 2006. All others <br />reported no conflicts. <br /> <br />Dalton moved and Sheets seconded a motion to continue the public hearing to March 16, 2006. <br />Motion passed by voice vote. <br /> <br />The following items are tentatively scheduled for March 9, 2006 at 6:30 PM <br /> <br />~ Resolution No. 05, Series 2006, CTC Storage, To consider a recommendation of <br />denial of a final planned unit development (PUD) plan and minor subdivision replat <br />for the construction of individual self storage units in multiple buildings with an <br />approximate total square footage of 78, 100 SF. The units are proposed to be sold <br />individually as condominiums. Lots 6 and 10 total approximately 4.91 acres. Lots 5 <br />(replat only), 6 and 10, Block 3, Colorado Technology Center, Filing No.1; Case <br />#05-032-FS/FP. Continued from February 9,2006 with a Planning Commission <br />motion for staff to prepare a resolution of denial for consideration at the March 9, <br />2006 meeting. <br />.
