involve bicycle or pedestrian travel on the narrow Marshall Road or Hwy 128. Secondly, <br />this trail (along with Town of Superior trail project #1) will provide safe bicycle commuting <br />opportunities to and from Superior, Eldorado Springs, and Boulder. Lastly, this trail benefits <br />both the town of Superior as well as residents of Boulder County who commute through this <br />region and who come to enjoy Boulder County Open Space in the vicinity. <br />Status: No County plans to pursue this link. Instead, a link along Coal Creek Drive to <br />S. 66 Ave. will be pursued as a way to link the Coal Creek Trail to the Marshall Mesa <br />trailhead. Boulder County has recently completed a portion of new trail and a <br />pedestrian bridge over Coal Creek on the Mayhoffer /Singletree property.and hopes to <br />complete a small trailhead for vehicle parking as plans progress for use of Coal Creek <br />Drive as a trail. <br />WARD (2001) <br />1.
