COUNCIL COMMUNICATION <br />TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: WILLIAM A. SIMMONS, CITY MANAGER <br />DATE: November 9, 2004 <br />SUBJECT: Signal Warrant Analysis <br />ORIGINATING DEPARTMENT: Public Works Department <br />SUMMARY: <br />Previously, City Council was provided copies of the report titled, "Louisville Signal Warrant Analysis" <br />addressing the technical basis for signal installation at six intersections throughout town. At Tuesday <br />night's Work Session David Woolfall from Carter Burgess, the consultant who prepared the analysis, <br />will be present to summarize the findings and address questions. Staff is anticipating a public meeting to <br />present the analysis to all interested residents. A meeting would also allow for detailed discussion on the <br />pros and cons of a traffic signal at either Pine Street or Tyler Avenue on Via Appia. <br />SUBJECT <br />Signal Warrant Analysis <br />AGENDA ITEM <br />
