BRaD
Meeting Summary
October 4, 2010
REPORT FROM COMMITTEE ON CTC TRAIL CONNECTION –
Rob Lathrop reported the original work plan for this committee was to look at a trail connection
from CTC and from Conoco Phillips, however, to combine the two purposes make it more
complicated. Each project will be worked on separately.
Rob presented to the Committee four possible options for constructing a trail from CTC that would
connect with the Coal Creek Trail and downtown Louisville. Three out of the four options would
require working with CDOT or private property owners. Scott Reichenberg, of CTC Metro District,
will present these options to the CTC Metro District to get their feedback. Rob plans to review
these trail options with the Parks and Recreation, Open Space Division, and will report back to
BRAD as the work progresses.
Troy Russ, Planning Director, reminded the group the Parks and Recreation Department is
currently working on a comprehensive master plan. He suggested that if BRAD wishes to endorse
this CTC trail connection that comments and suggestions should be incorporated into the master
plan process.
RETENTION VISITS OVERVIEW:
ImagineNation –
Received a BAP from the City.
