7 Xcel Energy PARTNERS IN ENERGY An Xcel Energy Community Collaboration Memorandum of Understanding Phase 2 — Plan Implementation Kayla Betzold City of Louisville 749 Main St Louisville, CO 80027 The intent of this Memorandum of Understanding is to recognize the achievement of the City of Louisville in developing a Community Decarbonization Plan. Xcel Energy, through its Partners in Energy offering, has supported the development of this Community Decarbonization Plan, which seeks to: • Further decarbonize Louisville's energy supply, • Improve the efficiency of, and electrify, existing buildings, and • Increase the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and the charging infrastructure necessary to support EV adoption. This document outlines how the City of Louisville (the City) and Xcel Energy will continue to work together to implement this Community Decarbonization Plan. The term of this joint support, as defined in this document, will extend from April 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025. The City's Community Decarbonization Plan establishes the following goals and targets: Community Decarbonization Plan Goal The City of Louisville will reduce energy -related emissions 60% below 2016 by 2030 and will be carbon neutral by 2050. Community Decarbonization Plan Targets Louisville's Community Decarbonization Plan sets the following annual targets for the 18-month implementation period. _ Participation in Xcel Energy Demand Side Management 710 160 programs focus on electrification programs) New EV's on the road 720 New participation in Xcel Energy renewable energy 123 15 Xcel Energy will support the City in achieving the goals of its Community Decarbonization Plan in the following ways: Residential Sector • Strategy R-1: Single -Family Homeowner Engagement o Draft a decarbonization roadmap (e.g., key steps and resources) to help single- family residents navigate energy efficiency, electrification, and renewable energy actions.
