Building Code Board of Appeals <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 20, 2024 <br />City Hall, Spruce Room <br />749 Main Street <br />6:30pm <br />Call to Order — Chairperson Matt Berry called the meeting to order at 6:37pm. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: <br />Matt Berry <br />Christian Dino <br />Mason Gatto <br />Peter Geise <br />Board Members Absent: <br />Steve Knapp <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Chad Root, Chief Building Official <br />Jenny Lane, Permit Technician <br />Approval of Agenda — <br />The agenda was approved by all members. <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes — <br />Meeting minutes for May 18, 2023 were approved by all members. <br />Election of Officers - <br />The Board elected officers. Christian Dino as Chair and Mason Gatto as Vice -Chair. <br />Discussion of adoption of 2024 ICC codes - <br />Chad explained that typically the Building Department skips a year of ICC codes. He <br />further explained that the 2021 code has new code that has been removed from the <br />2024 code. Louisville is working with all of northern Colorado to adopt the 2024 codes <br />sometime in the summer of 2024 to City Council and keep the amendments the same or <br />similar between municipalities. The 2023 NEC Electric code has already been adopted <br />by the State. <br />
