Local Licensing Authority <br /> Minutes <br /> April 26, 2010 <br /> Page 6 of 6 <br /> Secretary Hanson reported the restaurants and the Downtown Business <br /> Association had agreed to continue the service of alcohol on the patios. <br /> Carlson moved to approve the modification of premises for the street patios. <br /> Wilson seconded. Roll Call Vote: Lipton yes, Gunning yes, Carlson yes, <br /> Wilson yes and Rommelfanger yes. <br /> Police Department Reports <br /> Sergeant Lanphere stated he wanted to reiterate how well he thought Beef "0" <br /> Brady's was cooperating and striving to be successful. Rommelfanger <br /> commended the police department for their efforts in working with the <br /> establishment. Carlson concurred and was glad to see the change of attitude. <br /> Secretary's Report <br /> Secretary Hanson reported on the seller /server training provided by the police <br /> department. Sixty persons attended with 38 from Louisville establishments <br /> including our own Louisville Licensing Authority chair. Sergeant Lanphere <br /> commented it was the goal of the department to see the establishments succeed <br /> and he was glad to see so many attend. Discussion centered on the <br /> establishments who are doing a good job of keeping things in control. The <br /> Authority asked Sergeant Lanphere to pass on a thank you to those <br /> establishments. <br /> Hanson reported Open Government training for the City Board and Commission <br /> members would be held May 10 and 12, 2010 at City Hall. She provided <br /> members with a schedule and report of when they last attended. <br /> Authority Attorney's Report <br /> No report. <br /> Authority Comment <br /> Carlson reported on House Bill 1279 concerning the transfer of liquor licenses to <br /> grocery stores. It is headed to the Finance Committee on Wednesday. <br /> Adjourn Carlson moved to adjourn. Rommelfanger seconded.
