Cityof <br />Im Louisville <br />COLORADO SINCE 1882 <br />Resource ConservationAdvisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday, October 20th, 2010 City Hall, 749 Main Street, Council Chambers <br />I. CALL TO ORDER: Annie called the meeting to order at 6:35 pm. Mary Ann took over at 6:50. <br />II. ROLL CALL: Members present (in bold): Robin Cooley, Mary Ann Heaney, Annie Hughes, <br />Andy Johnson, Arno Laesecke, Mark Persichetti, staff liaison Tom Phare, City Council <br />representative Dave Clabots. <br />III. APPROVAL OF CURRENT MEETING'S AGENDA: The agenda was approved with changes. <br />IV. APPROVAL OF PAST MONTH'S MEETING MINUTES: The September minutes were <br />approved with two revisions: <br />Mark requested that the American Chemical Council be clarified in the notes <br />Mark requested that the last sentence be amended to read, "....up to an elimination of bags." <br />V. PUBLIC COMMENTS NOT ON THE AGENDA: None. <br />VI. FOLLOW -UP DISCUSSION OF TOPICS FROM SEPTEMBER MEETING <br />1. Boulder County Grant <br />Mark reported that funds available in the form of grant money from Boulder County are not <br />available for municipalities. The new Boulder County program, Two Techs, is starting to roll <br />out, but no details are available yet. <br />2. Composting <br />No problem calls have been reported yet on City of Louisville recycling and composting program <br />from Western or the City. Mark presented information information from Western on composting <br />and recycling; Mark suggested adding the Western information on composting and recycling to <br />the LSAB web page. <br />3. Plastic Bag Program <br />Mark presented an action plan on the Plastic Bag Program (see attachment). Action plan is in <br />draft form and comments will be taken at November meeting. <br />4. Recharge Colorado Grant <br />Annie did not have information on the Information Access Grant for meeting. Andy verified that <br />the grant is not applicable for City use. <br />5. Sustainability Plan Broomfield, Lafayette, Boulder County <br />Arno reported on sustainability plans for the Cities of Broomfield and Lafayette. Robin reported <br />on Boulder County's Sustainability Plan again. More discussion will occur on the sustainability <br />plans at next meeting. <br />VII. LIVABLE CITIES PRESENTATION by Mary Ann <br />1.
