COUNCIL COMMUNICATION <br /> <br /> <br />TO: WATER COMMITTEE <br /> <br />FROM: DAN MATHES, WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> March 4, 2011 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> Facilities Plan <br /> <br />ORIGINATING DEPARTMENT: <br />Public Works Department <br />SUMMARY: <br />A draft Scope of Work for a Water System Facilities Plan is attached. The plan would <br /> <br />integrate system capacity, water resources, operation, maintenance, emergency response and regulations <br />m the present towards City build-out, detailing the scenarios under <br />which the various projects could be completed. <br /> <br />The selection of a consultant for the project will follow a two step process. The first step will consist of <br />soliciting interested consultain <br />this project. City staff will then conduct a screening process of the provided documentation and select 2- <br />3 firms to proceed to the second step. In the second step the selected firms will be asked to submit <br />complete proposals for the Facilities Plan project.
