Is it because of the density or
traffic?

Deborski stated that for him it was because of the density.

Wood reviewed for the Commission that the applicant, McStain, has 15 days to put in writing a
request to appeal the decision of the Planning Commission to City Council. Normally, the
proposal would not be heard by Council as a preliminary but only as a final.

The following items are tentatively scheduled for October 12, 2006

~ Resolution No. 19, Series 2006, Louisville RV & Boat Storage, A final planned

unit development (PUD) plan to develop a 120,000 SF property for outdoor RV &

Boat Storage facility for approximately 150 individual stalls each measuring

approximately 12 ft. wide by 30-45 ft. long. 1313 Cannon St., Lots 2, 3 and 4, Block

B, Industrial Area Subdivision. Case #06-008-FP (Continued from May 11,2006,

August 10, 2006 and September 14,2006.)
. Applicant: Louisville RV & Boat Storage (Michael Deborski)
. Owner and Representative: PDI Trust (Patricia Irwin)
. Case Manager: Paul Wood, Planning Director

Wood stated that the department had received a verbal request to withdraw the item and had
instructed the owner to submit the request in writing.

Staff Comments
~ Joint study session with City Council scheduled for September 26,2006

Wood stated that the joint study session was scheduled for a 45 minute time period. The
following items have been identified for discussion: 3D Modeling, Inclusionary Zoning and the
Comprehensive Plan, specifically regarding Build Green and Affordable Housing.

Planning Commission Comments -

Several Commissioners requested that a financial modeling topic be added to the study session
list so they can have direction from Council as to which group (Planning Commission or City
Council) should be discussing with the applicant. They would also like to have direction on how
to review very large projects in relation to the Comprehensive Plan prior to the review of the
Comprehensive Plan in 2007.

Deborski inquired about the Open Government training dates. McCartney stated that staff would
send a letter regarding the dates and times to those that need the training.

Discussion Items for Next Meeting -

None heard.
