Easier to hold 30 minutes for <br />each board in 1 night to discuss? Staff/Director: Initial plan for boards is <br />Introductory meeting with a follow-up. <br />• Helpful for specific input from boards <br />• Will ask consultants what strategies are? And that will inform the schedule <br />and public input. Will be a plan of their proposal. <br />• Might not be quite at the same level of Comp plan in terms of opportunity <br />to budget; can use some foundational city -scale questions <br />• PPLAB Feedback: science -based consultants, find someone who has <br />expertise to save money, plantings that may need to be considered for the <br />next 10 years with climate change impacts <br />• PPLAB Feedback: consultant that shares enthusiasm and has researched <br />Louisville specifically. For example: Unique history of mining, blue collar <br />with growing tech, bio science, community priority re: <br />environment/parks/open space and priority for business support. <br />• Multiple Board members: Thank you for asking for our inputs; we don't <br />want to get in the way and appreciate the expertise of staff as well as the <br />career opportunity for the staff to lead and experience such a project! <br />IX. 2024 Work Plan Review and 2025 Work Plan Draft <br />Will carry forward to next month: <br />• By-laws review and update <br />• Long-range plan (2025) <br />• Outdoor rec roadmap <br />• Board collaboration <br />11 <br />
