Special Event: Ecotoberfest / Louisville Chamber of Commerce — <br />Community Park — October 5, 2024 — 2pm to 6pm <br />Kaufman called for any changes to the consent agenda. Seeing <br />none, Machado moved the items on the consent agenda be <br />approved; Crowe seconded. All in favor. <br />7. Authority Business <br />A. Public Hearing / Transfer Application: Maa Pathibhara, LLC d/b/a <br />Biryani Bliss — Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License — 390 South <br />McCaslin Blvd. <br />The Public Hearing was opened by Kaufman. The Secretary stated <br />the application was complete, the premises was posted, notice <br />published as required and no comments were received. Background <br />checks were conducted as required. There was no reason to deny the <br />application. <br />There were no authority member disclosures, and the members <br />agreed that the boundaries of the neighborhood are the current city <br />boundaries. <br />Kaufman moved the entire application be made part of the record of <br />the hearing; Machado seconded. All in favor. <br />The applicant, Bijaya Adhikari, was sworn in by the Secretary and <br />gave testimony on the application for transfer of a Hotel & Restaurant <br />Liquor License. Mr. Adhikari provided the authority with a letter of <br />support from a neighboring business owner. The owner made a brief <br />statement about customers enjoying the restaurant. <br />Kaufman asked when the applicant took over the restaurant and he <br />responded on June 1st. Kaufman asked if he was planning on taking <br />TIPS training. The owner worked in different places where alcohol <br />
