The restaurant opens at 11 am and is <br />open until 9pm on weekdays and until 10pm on weekends. Machado <br />asked if they sell hard alcohol. The applicant responded that as of <br />now they are just serving beer and wine. <br />There was no additional member discussion. Crowe noted that the <br />applicant was of good moral character, there is a desire for the license <br />to be granted and that all City and State law requirements have been <br />met. Based on those findings, Crowe moved that the application for <br />transfer of a Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License be approved with the <br />condition that the owner provides proof of server training. The motion <br />was seconded by Machado. Roll call vote was unanimous for <br />approval. <br />B. Public Hearing / Transfer Application: Ekagar, Inc. d/b/a Centennial <br />Wine and Spirits — Retail Liquor Store License — 324 South McCaslin <br />Blvd <br />The Public Hearing was opened by Kaufman. The Secretary stated <br />the application was complete, the premises was posted, notice <br />published as required and no comments were received. Background <br />checks were conducted as required. There was no reason to deny the <br />application. <br />There were no authority member disclosures, and the members <br />agreed that the boundaries of the neighborhood are the current city <br />boundaries. <br />Kaufman moved the entire application be made part of the record of <br />the hearing; Machado seconded. All in favor. <br />The applicant, Sarbjit Singh, and his representative, Michael Nuanes, <br />were sworn in by the Secretary. Mr. Nuanes provided testimony on <br />the application on behalf of his client regarding the transfer <br />application. <br />There was no additional member discussion. Machado noted that the <br />applicant was of good moral character, there is a desire for the license <br />to be granted and that all City and State law requirements have been <br />met. Based on those findings, Machado moved that the application for <br />transfer of a Retail Liquor Store Liquor License be approved. The <br />motion was seconded by Crowe.
