WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing on the proposed intergovernmental <br />agreement after proper public notice; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed intergovernmental agreement is in <br />the best interests of the City and its citizens. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br /> 1. The proposed Intergovernmental Agreement entitled Southeast Boulder County, <br />South 96th Street, Dillon Road, and US 287 Area Comprehensive Development Plan, a copy of <br />which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the attached Intergovernmental <br />Agreement on behalf of the City Council of the City of Louisville, subject to the requirement that <br />the Agreement be executed by the City of Broomfield, the City of Lafayette, and the County of <br />Boulder. The Mayor may not execute the Agreement if it will not be executed by such entities. <br />The Mayor is also hereby granted the authority to negotiate and approve such revisions to said <br />Agreement as the Mayor determines are necessary or desirable for the protection of the City, so <br />long as the essential terms and conditions of the Intergovernmental Agreement are not altered. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of February, 1999. <br /> <br />Dave Clabots, City Clerk <br /> <br />Tom Davidson, Mayor <br /> <br />091499/805[sjl]c:Lville'CqWPIGA.res <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
