Cityof <br />1m Louisville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />July 10, 2012 <br />Library Meeting Room, 951 Spruce Street <br />7:00 PM <br />The City Council met in a study session at 7:00 p.m. in the 1st Floor Meeting <br />Room at the Louisville Public Library at 951 Spruce Street, Louisville, Colorado. <br />The following persons were present: <br />City Council Present: <br />Staff Present: <br />Mayor Bob Muckle <br />Mayor Pro Tem Hank Dalton <br />Councilmember Emily Jasiak <br />Councilmember Jay Keany <br />Councilmember Susan Loo <br />Councilmember Ron Sackett <br />Councilmember Frost Yarnell <br />Malcolm Fleming, City Manager <br />Heather Balser, Deputy City Manager <br />Kathleen Hix, Human Resources Manager <br />Barb Kelley, Accounting Manager <br />Gavin McMillan, Planner III <br />Meredyth Muth, Public Relations Manager <br />Troy Russ, Planning and Building Safety Director <br />Kevin Watson, Finance Director <br />Call to Order— The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Mayor Muckle. <br />Update /Discussion — Public Notification Procedures (Land Use Projects) <br />Planning Director Troy Russ reviewed the requirements for public notice for land <br />use changes that are currently in the Louisville Municipal Code. He noted there <br />are inconsistencies regarding when it is required to physically post a notice on <br />the property and what distances are used for mailings.
