<br />ORDINANCE NO. 402 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEAI,ING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES RELATING TO <br />SEWER TAP FEES AND SEWER SERVICE RATES AND ALL ORDINANCES <br />INCONSISTENT WITH 'I'HE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE AND <br />ENACTING THIS ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMMERCIAL AND RESI- <br />DENTIAL SEWER RATE TAP FEES AND SETTING FORTH THE SEWER <br />SYSTEM POLICY OF TI~ CITY OF LOUISVILLE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY ~m CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLO- <br /> <br />RADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. Tap Permit Req,~: No sewer tap shall be made upon any sewer <br /> <br />main or any other portion of the sewer works of the City without first se- <br /> <br />curing a permit therefor. ~rhe application for a sewer tap permit shall <br /> <br />be made in writing upon a fl::>rm furnished by the Director of public Works, <br /> <br />or his authorized deputy, a:nd shall state clearly the tap size, address, <br /> <br />and name of the person applying for the tap and any other information which <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works may reasonably require. <br /> <br />Section 2. Tap Fee: Upon payment of the tap fee, the owner remains <br /> <br />responsible for all labor and excavation in connection with the installation <br /> <br />of the sewer tap. The Cit~. shall do all necessary inspection and the Direc- <br /> <br />tor of Public Worlts shall c:ause such inspection to be made to determine that <br /> <br />all of the work performed i.s in accordance with the National Plumbing Code. <br /> <br />The tap fee shall be computed as follows: <br /> <br />I. Residential <br /> <br />Mobile Home Park <br /> <br />$600.00 per unit <br />$600.00 first unit <br />$600.00 each additional unit <br />$600.00 1st unit <br />$600.00 each additional unit <br /> <br />Single Family <br />Multiple l~amily <br /> <br />II. Commercial <br /> <br />1. Motels, apartment <br />houses, hotels and <br />other commercially <br />operated rental units <br /> <br />$600.00 per unit <br />$600.00 each additional unit <br /> <br />2. Shops, stores, schools, <br />industrial plants, ser- <br />v.ice stations, car washes <br /> <br />The tap fee shall be 1/2 of the <br />water tap fee as computed by the <br />Water Works <br />
