Call to Order -Vice-Chairperson Fred called the meeting to order at 6:48 p.m. <br /> <br />II. Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Mike Frontczak, Tim Gilpin, Jeff Hafner, Matt <br />Tepe, Ellen Toon, Fred Banta, Theresa Rounds. <br /> <br />Board Members Absent: Susan Spaulding <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: Chris Lichty, City Forester <br /> <br />City Council Member absent: Dave Clabots <br /> <br />III. Approval of Agenda - The agenda was approved by all members. <br /> <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes - The minutes from the Oct. 10 meeting were <br />approved as written <br /> <br />V. Public Comments - Mike asked if we are ready to sign the 501 c3 <br />documents. Chris said that we are ready and should pick a bank to set up the <br />account. Chris will find out who needs to sign and let the board know. Jeff <br />asked what will happen if a HFAB member who is also on the Arboretum Board <br />leaves HFAB do they also leave the Arbo. Board. Chris said the board will stand <br />as written. <br /> <br />VI. Discussion and formulation of Pesticide Resolution Statements - <br />organize input from HFAB Members - Theresa spoke with Carol O'Mera, <br />Extension Agent for Boulder County, who suggested giving examples that <br />pertained to controls. Theresa brought in materials from the EPA website <br />regarding setting up an IPM program, she agrees with Ms. O'Mera that we need <br />to add more to our resolution to give examples of controls.
