<br />S" 1 <br /> <br />101277745 03/29/93 03:16 PM REAL ESTATE RECORDS <br />Fi808 CHARLOTTE HOUSTON BOULDER CNTY CO RECORDER <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1082 <br />SERIES 1992 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN FEE AND DEDICATION <br />REQUIREMENTS TO ASSIST IN MEETING VARIOUS GROWTH RELATED <br />NEEDS, INCLUDING WATER AND SEWER, PARKS, TRAILS AND OPEN <br />SPACE NEEDS, OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville, Colorado, is principally a <br />residential community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has experienced substantial residential <br />growth in recent years, including an increase in population from <br />1980 of 5,593 to a 1990 population of 12,361, which represents an <br />increase of 121 percent; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the population of the City has increased to about <br />14,000, an additional approximately 14 percent increase from <br />January 1990 to January 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at least two thousand two hundred fifty-one <br />additional residential units might be constructed on undeveloped <br />land located within the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is estimated that the City's population will <br />increase an additional 35 percent by January 2000, even if no <br />additional land is annexed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such population growth has placed and will continue <br />to place a burden on the ability of the City to provide public <br />services in a timely fashion to accommodate the growth; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City will need additional resources in order to <br />provide necessary water and sewer services to its additional <br />population, as described in the Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is a demonstrated need, as shown in the <br />Louisville Parks Master Plan, to provide additional parks, trails <br />and open space areas within the City to serve its growing <br />population, and the available areas are diminishing with new <br />development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the ci ty has incurred bonded debt in order to <br />construct new facilities necessary to provide a water supply to <br />serve the present and future population of the ci ty and new <br />development should pay its fair share of such costs; and <br /> <br />1 <br />
