RESOLUTION NO. 3 <br /> SERIES 2014 <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING REFUSE, RECYCLABLES AND COMPOSTABLES <br /> COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL FEES EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2013 FOR THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the City of Louisville Charter, the City of Louisville Municipal <br /> Code and state law, the City is authorized to fix, establish, impose, maintain and provide for the <br /> collection of rates, fees and charges for refuse, recyclables and compostables utility services <br /> furnished by the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the current rates, fees and charges for such services were established by <br /> Table 9, Exhibit "A", Resolution No. 71, Series 2013; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council by this resolution desires to revise the various rates, fees <br /> and charges for refuse, recyclables and compostables utility services furnished by the City, <br /> effective February 1, 2014; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> SECTION 1. For refuse collection and disposal, the following rates, fees and charges shall <br /> apply and be charged effective February 1, 2014: <br /> Container Size Rate <br /> 32 Gallon $8.58/month <br /> 64 Gallon $15.42/month <br /> 96 Gallon $22.28/month <br /> Additional refuse carts, any size, if 96 gallon $2.16/month <br /> refuse service is provided <br /> Each account subject to refuse collection and disposal service shall be entitled to recycling service at <br /> no additional charge. <br /> SECTION 2. For compostables processing utility services provided by the City, the <br /> following rates, fees and charges shall apply and be charged effective February 1, 2014: <br /> Container Size Rate <br /> 32 Gallon $2.97/month <br /> 64 Gallon $5.94/month <br /> 96 Gallon $8.90/month <br /> Additional compostable carts, any size,if 96 $2.16/month <br /> gallon compostables service is provided <br /> Resolution No. 3, Series 2014 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
