City Hall Council Chambers <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Jeffrey Lipton: Chair <br /> Chris Pritchard, Secretary <br /> Tom McAvinew, Vice-chair <br /> Michael Deborski <br /> Susan Loo <br /> Monica Sheets <br /> Bill McDermott <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Staff: Paul Wood, Planning Director <br />Kenneth Johnstone, Principal Planner <br /> Jolene Schwertfeger, Administrative Assistant <br /> <br />Applicant(s): Bruce Meighen, EDAW, Inc., Project Manager <br /> Bill Cunningham, Leland Consultant Group <br /> Melissa Allen, PBS & J <br /> Kathryn McCormick, McCormick and Associates <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.Call to Order <br /> Lipton called the meeting to order at 6:37 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Roll Call <br /> All present. <br /> <br /> <br />3.Approval of Agenda <br /> Pritchard moved and Loo seconded the approval of the agenda as <br /> <br />printed. Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br /> <br /> <br />4.Public Comments – Items Not On The Agenda <br />Doug Grinbergs, 538 W Sycamore Circle, discussed a book, “A Pattern Language” and <br />recommended to the Commission that it is worth the time to review in light of the discussion for <br />the public hearings related to Comprehensive Plan. He provided a handout that highlighted items <br />of special interest to him as he scanned the book. <br /> <br />Pritchard moved and McDermott seconded a motion to enter into public record the handout from <br />Grinbergs. Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br /> <br />Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy, introduced the need to include Telecom Issues in the Comp Plan. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
