<br /> <br />Horticulture & Forestry <br />Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Thursday, January 3, 2008 <br />Louisville Library <br />950 Spruce <br />First Floor Conference Room <br />6:30PM <br /> <br />I. The meeting was called to order by chair Theresa Rounds at 6:40 pm. <br /> <br />II. Roll call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Theresa Rounds, Matt Tepe, Tim Gilpin and Ellen Toon <br />Board members absent: Mike Frontzcak, Jeff Hafner, Fred Banta, and <br />Susan Spaulding. <br />City Staff and Council member present: Chris Lichty and Dave Clabots <br /> <br />III. The agenda was approved by all board members present. <br /> <br />IV. The Dee 6 meeting minutes were approved by all board members <br />present, with one correction: regarding the Arboretum pergola design, <br />Theresa's suggestion was to cover the concrete footers with strip-stone <br />rather than blend. <br /> <br />V. No public comments <br /> <br />VI. Posting of HFAB meeting notices will be at City Hall, the Rec Center, <br />Library and Police Dept. Theresa moved to approve the posting <br />locations, and the motion was seconded by Matt. <br /> <br />VII. Pesticide Resolution draft was reviewed by Scott and board's questions <br />were answered, although he did not comment on the body of the <br />resolution. Theresa suggested that City Manager Malcolm Fleming be <br />asked to review the draft-she will email him to request review and a <br />possible meeting. Chris will post board's current activities on the <br />website in order to raise public awareness of pesticide issue, and <br />possibly elicit public response to relay to City Council.
